Age of Wonders III - Internship (Design)
I've had the pleasure of working at Triumph Studios for my internship. During my time at triumph studios I have been given a wide range of different assignments such as QA, Balancing, Level Design, Content Design and System Design.
Age of Wonders III is a turn-based strategy game in a fantasy setting that should sound familiar to a lot of hardcore players that have a preference towards this genre.

Sky pirates - School Project (Design Lead)
In this game, the player takes the role as sky pirate and races against other sky pirates for the ultimate treasure.
This game completely seperates itself from other racing games by having a bird's eye view, a unique setting and a unique grappling hook mechanic which is used with the mouse.
The player can use the grappling hook in order to sling the ship around a sharp corner, avoid obstacles or to pick up items. By clever use of the grappling hook, the player will be able to get ahead in the race to the finish. The levels have been designed in a way that allows the player to get in a state of flow by using the grappling hook.

Oikonomia - SCHOOL PROJECT (Designer)
In this game, the player has been given the responsibility of managing a country's taxes. The player has the task to find the right balance of spendings and taxes in order to keep the country happy and productive. The city will react according to the player's choices. For example: When the player didn't invest enough resources into infrastructure, the city streets would be jammed with cars.
This was a project was for an external client which wanted to convey the message that taxes are ultimately for the people's happiness.

Clean-Off - School Project (Designer)
Clean-off is a phone application for android and iOS that gamifies the task distribution of a household. The application is aimed at mainly student dorms.
Players can add a list of custom tasks and rate them on difficulty. When multiple people prefer to do or not do a task, there will be a clean-off which will determine who gets a task or who doesn't get a task. Clean-offs are battles based around chance which can be influenced by a player's skills, equipable items and consumeable items.
